Went back to infusions last Tuesday. Not nearly as bad as the pills. Didn't feel great on Thursday, but only that day. YAY! The week before I was in Atlanta. I got to see Shaun Cassidy (70s teen idol) in concert, just him with a guitar and piano. Such a great show! He told lots of stories about his life and family (Jack Cassidy, Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, etc.). He made a few mistakes on the piano and got frustrated. It was so refreshing and human. Of course, great music! Then Katie and I went to Dragon Con- pop culture convention. There are lots of pictures on Instagram and Facebook. I DOUBLE MASKED THE WHOLE TIME. The MARTA bus system is awful. Apps aren't really helpful and buses don't run on time. And I found out that sleep deprivation and chemo brain aren't a helpful combo. I lost several items, including my Dr. Strange doll. I retraced my steps but could find no remnants, not even some stuffing. My belief is that a child (yes, there are children at the convention) or a parent picked it up. That makes me feel better than thinking that a street sweeper threw it away. I also lost false eyelashes (found them stuck to receipts when I got home), a glove from one of my cosplays, a pair of sunglasses, and a thyroid pill that I dropped. Ugh. Stopped on the way home off the interstate in the parking lot of a Latino restaurant to rest for 20 minutes before driving on. Home now and feeling pretty good.
